Ashland Car Thief Used Craigslist to Find Stolen Vehicle
After test-driving the car, he drove away suddenly into Holliston and led police on a two-hour search.

The alleged car thief who fled into Holliston's woods Saturday night before being taken into custody, used Craigslist to find the vehicle he is accused of stealing, Ashland Police said.
Ryan Bowden, a 22 year-old New Britain Connecticut resident, met the owner of an Audi A6 at at a Logan Express bus station in Framingham after he saw the car for sale on Craigslist.
After test-driving the vehicle, Bowden suddenly drove away and fled into Holliston. Police said he later abandoned the vehicle and ran on foot into Holliston's woods.

After a two-hour search, Bowden was apprehended outside Holliston's Fatima shrine. A visitor at the shrine called Holliston police when they saw Bowden in the area, according to Holliston Police Chief John Moore.
Bowden has been charged with five crimes, including larceny of a motor vehicle, car jacking and unarmed robbery.
