Boston Honey Company Inc, is a family owned and operated beekeeping company based in Holliston, MA. The business started as a backyard hobby in 1996 by Andy Reseska, with a small package of bees in mid May. Andy’s hobby soon turned into a passion as he continued to increase the amount of bee colonies and spread his hobby from the backyard to local farms and fields in the surrounding neighborhoods and towns.

As the operation grew so did the time commitment and in early 2000, the family went full-time into keeping bees. Boston Honey Company Inc, was now ready to spread the buzz! With a focus on being a local brand first and foremost, the family chose the name Boston Honey Company, as it ties the honey, the bees, and the business directly to its origins, with beeyards in Minuteman National Park as some of the first large beeyards managed by Andy.

The company continued to grow and in the Summer of 2015 opened its first retail store as one of the founding member businesses at the Boston Public Market. Jump forward into 2020 the family opened their very own flagship location in Holliston with all of their operations under one roof. The Farm Store in Holliston is more than just a store, with the building housing harvest, extraction, and other preparation for market equipment. The Farm Store offers windows into a day in the life of a commercial beekeeper with viewports into the candle making room, and into the harvesting area with catered tours for schools, extended day programs, and other interested groups!
