officials responded to reports of smoke coming from an abandonded house on Norfolk Street around 8 a.m. Saturday, according to initial scanner reports.  Later reports described the structure as having a "heavy fire in the basement."   Around 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Chief Michael Cassidy sent a tweet, saying "basement fire knocked down.
