Fatal Crash on Mass. Pike In Hopkinton Kills North Shore Man
The two right lanes were closed down around 6 p.m.

HOPKINTON, MA—A crash on the Mass. Pike in Hopkinton killed a North Shore man on Wednesday night, according to multiple reports.
Mass. State Police said that the man was killed after his car slammed into the rear of a tractor-trailer in the eastbound land west of I-495 around 6:30 p.m. A Jeep Liberty driven by the 30-year-old man from Beverly hit the rear of a tractor-trailer driven by a 42-year-old man from Quebec.
The man was extricated from his vehicle and he was pronounced dead from the injuries in the crash.

Earlier, MSP reported that a crash with "serious injury" occurred on the Mass. Pike east bound just west of I-495.
The right two lanes were closed.
