Holliston Police Log: Crash on Marshall Street Breaks Telephone Pole

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Dec. 7

6:59 a.m.: An officer followed up on the airsoft gun incident at Holliston High School.

7:13 a.m.: Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Summer Street. No injuries were reported.

8:51 a.m.: NStar was notified of a natural gas odor on Highland Street.

2:37 a.m.: A construction worker from Table Top Pizza reported youths in the construction site.

5:20 p.m.: An officer assisted the Holliston Fire Department with an alarm investigation on Hopping Brook Road.

5:57 p.m.: A resident of Beverly Circle reported a neighborhood dispute. The caller asked for follow up the next day.

Saturday, Dec. 8

12:33 a.m.: A motor vehicle crashed in to a telephone pole on Marshall Street causing wires and a transform to be knocked over. A detail officer was called to assist while NStar responded. Marshall Street remained closed until 10 p.m.

2:51 p.m.: An officer mediated the dispute between neighbors on Beverly Circle.

10:43 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle at Holliston High School and spoke to four male occupants.

Sunday, Dec. 9

2:13 a.m.: An officer checked the Holliston High School parking lot and observed overturned trash barrels.

10:41 a.m.: An officer issued three parking citations to vehicles parked in a Jasper Hill Road resident’s driveway. The vehicles belonged to churchgoers and were blocking the resident from leaving.

7:12 p.m.: An employee of Tommy’s Taxi called the station to report that a resident was unable to pay for his cab fare because he did not have an acceptable form of payment. Officers responded and spoke to the rider, Paul R. Cook, 49, of 1038 Washington St., who was arrested on warrant charges.

Monday, Dec. 10

8:56 a.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash on Concord Street near High Street.

6:06 p.m.: A caller reported that a truck almost hit her kids in the High School parking lot. The driver of the truck said she could not see the kids because of the lighting conditions.

6:11 p.m.: A resident reported that an adult had harassed her sons after they were reportedly messing with the adult’s bushes.
