Holliston Police Log: Stolen Change, Vehicle Lockout

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Monday, Nov. 5

12:19 a.m.: An officer from the Holliston Police Department assisted with a crash in Sherborn.

5:47 a.m.: A caller from Jerrold Street reported that loose change was taken from her vehicle some time over the weekend.

6:30 a.m.: A caller reported a blown transformer on Prentice Street. No smoke or fire was seen in the area. NStar was notified.

10:51 a.m.: A resident reported illegal dumping on Lakeshore Drive at the Cabot Boat Landing. Mail from a resident was found with the debris.

1:26 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street and issued the operator a criminal application for operating with a suspended license and a crosswalk violation.

3:20 p.m.: A caller from Morton Street reported that in the past few days $15 in change was taken from her unlocked car.

6:18 p.m.: An officer took a report of a car vs. deer crash on Highland Street.

Tuesday, Nov. 6

7:24 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle near Bertucci’s and issued a citation for operating an unregistered vehicle. The vehicle was left in the parking lot and the officer brought the operator in to the station so he could make arrangements for a ride.

2:14 p.m.: A caller complained that political signs at Holliston High School were too close to the veterans’ memorial signs.

2:54 p.m.: An officer investigated a crash at the intersection of Washington and South streets.

4:12 p.m.: An officer responded to a car vs. tree crash on Ashland Street. No injuries were reported.

5:40 p.m.: A caller locked their keys in their car at CVS. An officer was unable to unlock the vehicle so the operator was advised to call a private tow company.

6:15 p.m.: The owner of W. J. Nowicki requested that a car be moved because it was blocking the entrance to the business.

11:19 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Hollis Street with a flat tire. The vehicle was towed and the operator made arrangements for a ride.

11:42 p.m.: An officer responded to a deer that was hit by a vehicle on Concord Street.
