Holliston Youth Injured In New Hampshire ATV Crash
He was riding an ATV with his father Thursday afternoon at Jericho State Park north of Mt. Washington, according to authorities.
HOLLISTON, MA — A young person from Holliston was injured Thursday in an off-road accident at a state park in New Hampshire, according to authorities.
The young rider was using a trail near 4 p.m. at Jericho State Park in Berlin when he entered a cloud of dust and made a sharp turn to avoid a gate. He swerved into a ditch and was ejected from the ATV, according to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
Authorities did not give the rider's exact age, but said he was riding with his father — also a Holliston resident — when the accident happened. The father was in a separate ATV.

The rider was taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Fish and game authorities highlighted that the rider was wearing a helmet at goggles at the time of the crash — key pieces of safety gear.
