Hopkinton High Locker Room Locked After "Destructive Behavior"
Hopkinton High's principal sent a letter to parents saying the boys' locker rooms will be locked after school due to vandalism.

HOPKINTON, MA - The boys' locker room at Hopkinton High School will now be locked after school after the principal on Friday reported a series of incidents of "destructive behavior" there.
Principal Evan Bishiop sent a letter to parents Friday explaining that behavior in the boys' locker room had been “unsanitary, destructive, and inappropriate.”
“This behavior has recently cost the district significant money in repairs, and it creates unnecessary – and frankly disgusting – work for our custodians, who should not need to deal with this type of behavior,” he wrote in the letter.

According to a news report, Bishop said a warning had been sent via the school's athletic director warning that if inappropriate behavior continued, the locker room and team rooms would have to be locked. Within 24 hours, the principal reported that another act occurred.
Now coaches will need to unlock the locker room to allow athletes to get changed. Students not on a spring athletic team will not be allowed to use it.
