Hopkinton Police Log: Drug Lab, 21-Year-Old Arrested
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, Nov. 16
12:25 a.m.: An officer responded to a car vs. tree crash on Wood Street. John M. Leteria, 21, of 6 Jackson St., was arrested. Police are charging Leteria with negligent operation, marked lanes violation and drunken-driving.
4:12 a.m.: A caller from First Road reported a strange smell in the area. The caller said the believed their neighbor may have been running a “drug lab.” Officers responded and did not smell anything suspicious.

6:27 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported and a tow was not needed.
1:00 p.m.: A student spoke with a traffic enforcement officer about vandalism to their back windshield in the High School parking lot.

Saturday, Nov. 17
1:02 a.m.: A caller reported that he observed a vehicle on Route 495 south speed up and slow down while weaving between cars. The caller indicated that the vehicle got off the highway at West Main Street headed toward the center of town. An officer pulled over the vehicle, driven by Paul J. Nelson, 57, of 108 Woodside Rd., Harvard, and arrested him. Nelson is being charged with marked lanes violation and second offense drunken-driving.
1:24 p.m.: A caller from Brook Hollow reported that someone was taking pictures of her house and when she confronted him he said he was with an insurance agency that did not exist. The male said he would go retrieve his paperwork but instead fled the scene.
8:09 p.m.: A caller reported a possible intoxicated person who was seen stumbling down Elm Street with a beer bottle in their hand. An officer spotted the person but they fled on foot down Leman Lane.
8:35 p.m.: A store manager from West Main Street requested an officer regarding a stalking situation with an employee.
9:05 p.m.: A caller from Doyle Lane reported that a man ran through her backyard.
10:12 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an injured person in a parking lot on Wood Street. Officers responded with police from Westborough and Southborough to investigate the incident.
Sunday, Nov. 18
12:59 a.m.: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on South Street and arrested Kyle D. Mackenzie, 27, of 4 Ivy Ln., Milford. Mackenzie was charged with marked lanes violation and drunken-driving.
1:12 p.m.: A resident of Downey Street reported a theft of car tires.
1:50 p.m.: A person walked in to the Hopkinton Police Department to report a brush fire on Route 495.
8:12 p.m.: Officers responded to a crash on West Main Street. One vehicle was towed.
8:23 p.m.: Multiple callers reported a possible chimney fire on Hayden Rowe Street. The Hopkinton Fire Department also responded.
10:17 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a man in the woods near Lumber Street. Officers spoke to the caller and checked the area but did not find anything suspicious.
Monday, Nov. 19
8:02 a.m.: A caller reported from West Main Street reported that the top to her convertible had been sliced open overnight.
8:54 a.m.: An officer took a report of illegal dumping on South Street.
3:56 p.m.: Officers responded with an ambulance to a rollover car crash in Holliston on North Mill Street.
9:37 p.m.: A caller reported a young male and female in an argument on Davis Road. An officer spoke to the couple who were only involved in a verbal argument.
11:01 p.m.: A caller reported a domestic incident on the High School property. An officer located the people involved at EMC Park and spoke to them.
