Hopkinton Police Log: Drunk Driver Arrested After Rollover

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Wednesday, Nov. 28

8:13 a.m.: A caller from Lumber Street reported that a hunter was parked on his property without permission. The hunter moved his vehicle before an officer arrived.

9:42 a.m.: A caller from Curtis Road reported suspicious people that had parked in a neighbor’s driveway and were walking around. An officer responded and spoke to the men who were working on the neighbor’s roof.

4:40 p.m.: A caller reported exchanging words with another driver after a road rage incident An officer stopped the other driver and spoke with them.

6:17 p.m.: A woman went in to the police station to report that she had hit two separate stop signs on Elm Street. An officer took a report of the crashes.

Thursday, Nov. 29

4:41 p.m.: A caller from Pond Street reported credit card fraud.

7:54 p.m.: Officers from the Hopkinton Police Department responded to a rollover crash on Main Street. The operator of the vehicle was placed under arrest and transported to the hospital for treatment. Colleen Patricia O’Connell, 41, of 144 Main St., Upton was charged with second offense drunken-driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license for habitual offenses.

9:43 p.m.: A caller reported that he was just involved in a crash on Lumber Street. Upon arrival an officer found the vehicle in the woods.
