Hopkinton Police Log: Legacy Farms Workers Violate Bylaws

Thursday, Dec. 6
6:49 a.m.: an officer issued two citations to work crews at Legacy Farms for operating too early.
10:49 a.m.: An officer spoke with local merchants about crime prevention measure.

5:11 p.m.: A 911 caller reported two men who were trying to break into a house on Tammer Lane. The caller said the two men fled when they were scene. Officers searched the area but where unable to find the men.
6:14 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that her neighbor’s dog had just “attacked” her. Animal Control was notified and followed up.

Friday, Dec. 7
6:20 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Man Street and arrested Reinaldo S. Tenezaca, 43, of 23 Water St., Milford. Tenezaca was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
10:34 a.m.: A caller from Downey Street reported that a man said he had an appointment to sweep her chimney. When she advised him that he made a mistake the man allegedly lingered in the area. Officers were unable to find the van the man was driving.
12:45 p.m.: A bank manager reported that a man yelled at an ATM on South Street before walking away. The manager said he retrieved a female’s card from the machine. According to the manager the male met up with other people outside the business who were acting suspicious.
5:12 p.m.: A resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a house on Thayer Heights. The vehicle left the area after 45 minutes.
5:59 p.m.: Two cars were involved in a crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported.
Saturday, Dec. 8
5:44 a.m.: Five residents of Tiffany Trail were evacuated after a carbon monoxide detector sounded.
7:29 a.m.: NStar was advised of a blown transformer on Wood Street. A primary wire was taken down.
10:35 a.m.: An officer assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department gain entry to a residence on Winter Street after a carbon monoxide alarm.
12:47 p.m.: Officers assisted with traffic control while the Holliston Police Department responded to a crash on Marshall Street.
4:43 p.m.: An officer took a report of a crash on South Street. No injuries were reported.
Sunday, Dec. 9
8:18 a.m.: An officer shut down a work crew on Sunday. Crews are not allowed to work on Sunday.
2:19 p.m.: Officers from the Hopkinton Police Department responded to a report of people cutting down Christmas trees on East Main Street.
3:22 p.m.: An officer spoke with a person on Main Street who had a “very old” warrant. The individual assured the officer they would take care of it on Monday.
5:35 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of her Front Street house. The vehicle was a limo driver who was at the wrong address.
