When the Hopkinton Board of Selectmen got ready for the annual town meeting in May the held of on several major items awaiting a more complete picture of where the town stood in terms of building maintenance.
The study still hasn't been completed but there is one project the School Committee insisted needs immediate attentions.
The Elmwood School roof has been leaking for several years and maintenance workers for the building worry that it won't last through many more winters.

The roof is the first of three articles voters will be looking at tonight. It is expected to cost the town $1.1 million to repair the building, but School Committee members say that is a small price to keep the building as a viable learning environment for Hopkinton schoolchildren.
If approved the roof is expected to be replaced over the coming summer.

The second article asks voters whether they will approve a sewer extension on Elm Street. The project will cost $220,000.
The final article asks voters to approve a parcel of land outside of Colella's that has already been used for roadway improvements at the intersection of Grove Street and Main Street.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Middle School auditorium .
