POLL: Massachusetts to Consider Online Lottery Sales
State officials are looking into the possiblity of web gambling in Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts State Lottery could be headed to the web as Steve Grossman, state treasurer, looks into the possibility of online gambling using a recently-formed task force on the issue.
While online gambling could raise lottery sales in the state, concern stems from the impact on the 7,500 lottery retailers, masslive.com reports.
The Department of Justice recently arrived at an opinion that banned "wire gambling" refers only to sports bets, paving the way for a Massachusetts Internet lottery.
