Non-Profit Works To Preserve Holliston's Character
"Celebrate Holliston" is now accepting grant applications for 2012.

"Celebrate Holliston," a non-profit group started in 1991 to preserve Holliston's character and sense of community, is accepting applications for grants to benefit the town.
The group has organized events including the town's Citizen of the Year award and Winter Ball. It works to improve public buildings by granting them signs and items to make them more effective.
"We recognize the needs of the town based on what residents tell us," Theresa Lamkin, the event's organizer said. "Sometimes they give us a suggestion and we can take them on."
