Panthers Hockey Ties Dover - Sherborn 3-3

Panthers make a surge after being out shot in the first period.

Sluggish first periods have plagued the Panthers hockey team this season, but the mid-game surge that comes after has been a saving grace.

On Saturday's game against Dover-Sherborn, Panthers took the ice at Veterans' Arena in Franklin in the second period down 2-1 after being out played in the game's first 20 minutes.

"Luckily goalie Jamie Losanno keeps us in it, making 12 saves," coach Rick LeBlanc said in an email.

"Dover-Sherborn is a great team and to come out of this game with a tie and control half the game is definitely  a positive feeling. We hope to build on this as we go into a busy week," LeBlanc said in an email.
