Friday, Jan. 27 8:35 p.m.: A Bonney Drive resident reported a truck struck the fire hydrant in front of his home. An officer reported no water coming from the broken hydrant. The vehicle left the scene before police arrived.   Saturday, Jan. 28 2:03 p.m.: received a report of a suspicious male subject who left  shop after giving an unwanted gift to the clerk and went across the street to the library. The gift was returned and the subject who was advised not to return to the Bird in Hand or face trespass charges. 8:17 p.m.: Police arrested Ricardo Encarnacion, 22, who lives at 465 Village Road in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. They initially pulled over Encarnacion for driving without operational tail lights.
