POLL: Can Newt Gingrich Make a Comeback?

According to Politico, Newt Gingrich's comeback is already secured. 

Not in the Republican primary, where his opponent Mitt Romney has taken huge victories in recent weeks, but in the broader political realm. 

"Gone are the days of Gingrich as washed-up talking head, spouting off inflammatory and easily ignored rhetoric on Fox News in decidedly non-prime time hours," Politico's Alexander Burns wrote. 

After taking a role as a marginalized radical in recent years, his current presidential run is a test of how much relevance a single campaign can earn, Politico says. This quest for relevance motivates Gingrich's long-shot campaign, and drags out an increasingly bloody Republican primary. 

While the chances of a Gingrich revival as a presidential candidate are slim, it is clear that win or lose, Newt will come out of his campaign in a position stronger than his last one.
