Pair Injured In Explosion Inside MA Home
The explosion happened along Westfield Drive on Monday afternoon, according to local fire departments.
HOLLISTON, MA — Two men injured in an explosion Monday were taken by helicopter to hospitals in Boston, according to local fire departments.
The explosion happened just before 4 p.m. Monday along Westfield Drive north of the downtown Holliston area.
The men, ages 61 and 59, were found in the front yard of the home following the explosion with burn injuries, Boston25 reported. The explosion may have happened as the men — one the homeowner, the other an electrician — were working on an oil heating system, the station reported.

Two helicopters landed at Holliston High School to transport the men, according to the Ashland Fire Department, whose members responded to lend assistance.
