CVS Opens Coronavirus Testing Site In Malden

CVS has plans to open 1,000 drive-thru testing sites across the country, and hopes to eventually process 1.5 million tests per month.

MALDEN, MA — CVS is opening five new coronavirus testing sites in Massachusetts, including one in Malden. This brings the number of testing sites across the state to 33.

The new sites will open Friday, June 26. Customers who meet federal testing guidelines can schedule an appointment and receive a test kit at the drive-thru window of the CVS store. A CVS employee will instruct patients on how to self-administer the swab test. Tests will be processed off-site at a third party lab.
