• Malden Cuts Ribbon On Anticipated Affordable Housing Complex (patch.com) — Malden officials have opened a new five-unit affordable condo complex on Cross Street, transforming a long-vacant property into homes for first-time buyers. Funded largely with American Rescue Plan Act money and city housing funds, the project targets households around Malden’s area median income and is part of a broader effort to address the local housing crisis. New owners are expected to move in later this month.
