Everett Man Scaled Fence, Threw Rock At FBI Headquarters: Feds
U.S. Attorney: Brian Dennis, 52, was charged with damaging federal property after he shattered the glass on a door at FBI HQ in Chelsea.
EVERETT, MA — An Everett man is facing federal charges after he scaled a fence at the Boston FBI headquarters in Chelsea and shattered a door window, the U.S. Attorney's office said. Brian Ricardo Dennis, 52, was charged with injuring or depredating government property.
Around 1:20 a.m. on July 31, Dennis was seen on surveillance video climbing the perimeter fence at FBI headquarters, approaching an exterior door and banging on the door with his hands, federal authorities said. He then retrieved a large rock and repeatedly threw it against the door, shattering the glass, the USAO said. Dennis then climbed back over the fence and left the area, according to the criminal complaint.
Dennis was found by law enforcement and taken to the emergency room for injuries to his right hand. Federal authorities said Dennis admitted to being the person in the surveillance video, and his fingerprints matched those found at the building.
