Malden High School Plans In-Person Graduation For August

MALDEN, MA — Malden High School will hold an outdoor graduation ceremony Monday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. at MacDonald Stadium, Malden Superintendent John Oteri wrote in his end-of-year letter to families.

There will only be two tickets distributed per graduate and there will be strict adherence to social distancing guidelines, Oteri said. Otherwise, it will look like a typical graduation ceremony – caps, gowns, turning of the tassel and speeches for the Class of 2020.

Oteri said the plan could be adjusted depending on the state of the virus in August.
