Malden Pool Closes Due To Coronavirus Contact
Officials said a person at the facility came in close contact with someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19.
MALDEN, MA — The Department of Conservation and Recreation shut down the Holland Memorial Swimming and Wading Pool Wednesday due to coronavirus concerns. A person at the facility came into close contact with someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19, city officials said.
The DCR is having the facility deep cleaned and sanitized.
The Malden Health Department will work with the DCR to contact relevant individuals through the contract tracing protocol.
