• Mystic Valley Elder Services Agrees to Settle Class Action Data Breach Lawsuit for $520,000 (hipaajournal.com) — A Malden-based nonprofit, Mystic Valley Elder Services, has agreed to a $520,000 settlement after a 2024 data breach exposed sensitive information for more than 89,000 people. If you were affected, you may be eligible for about $75, reimbursement of certain documented losses up to $5,000, and two years of credit monitoring, with claims due by February 9, 2026 and a final court hearing on February 17, 2026.
