MARLBOROUGH, MAâAdministrative offices in Marlborough close for the Christmas holiday at the end of business on Friday, Dec, 22, and do not reopen until normal business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 26. Trash pickup is delayed by one day.
City Hall is also closed on Monday, Jan. 1, for New Year's Day.
Marlborough schools close for the holiday recess at dismissal on Friday, Dec. 22. Schools reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

The MBTA will be running on a Sunday schedule on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
