• Medway Fire Department responds to Evergreen Street structure fire (millismedwaynews.com) — Medfield firefighters helped keep Medway protected by providing station coverage while Medway crews battled a destructive garage fire on Evergreen Street that killed eight cats and sent one person to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The blaze heavily damaged a detached garage but spared the nearby home, and investigators are still working to determine the cause. Officials are urging residents to check smoke alarms and maintain safe clearances around buildings.
