Good morning. Here are five things to know today:

The comment period is ending for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council's draft plan regarding the neighborhood along Route 16 that would be impacted by a station there. Get you comment in by Dec. 30.

2. Weather: It's expected to be sunny today with highs around 33 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There's a 40 percent chance of snow Friday and a 20 percent chance Saturday.

3. Skating Schedule: Thinking of taking the kids skating at LoConte Rink over winter break?

A group of activists is looking to bring the Occupying movement to Malden sometime next month. “Now that Occupy Boston doesn't have a solid location in Boston anymore, it is harder for the public to help the movement grow,” organizer Robin Nelson told Malden Patch. “The only real solution: Create an Occupy movement in every town. - that way the movement comes to the 99%, not the 99% going to the movement.”
