It's Warming Up: For a day, anyway. Today's high is expected be around 45 degrees. There's a slight chance of showers throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service, which pegs the probability of precipitation at 20 percent.

School Committee Meeting Canceled: A school committee meeting initially scheduled for Valentine's Night was canceled last week.

: Winter Story Time is for ages  ages 2 to 5. Drop by the library at 10 a.m. for a story and simple craft.

Tufts Women's Hoops Plays Endicott: The 17-5 Jumbos take on Endicott College at 7 p.m. at Cousens Gym on the Tufts campus.

Medford Resident Named Hallmark Health Employee of the Year: Ken Babin, a cashier at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, has been named the health company's 2010 employee of the year.
