Potential Package Thief: Medford Police Looking To Identify Person Of Interest

MEDFORD, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a package theft that took place at a home on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at approximately 1:45 p.m.

The Amazon delivery driver was captured on surveillance footage appearing to steal a USPS package on the home’s doorsteps while delivering another Amazon package at the same time. According to police, the stolen package contained Converse Stranger Things sneakers that were meant to be a Christmas present for a young resident of the home.

“This Amazon delivery driver decided to add themselves to Santa’s Naughty List by stealing a young girl’s Christmas present,” the department said in a statement. “This Grinch-like behavior crossed the line.”
