Medford Fall Street Sweeping Schedule 2011

The following was submitted by the Medford Department of Public Works:

The following are the scheduled fall street sweepings in Medford. It is subject to change depending on weather.

Nov. 7 and 8: Priority catch basin cleaning in heavy leaf areas

Nov. 9 and 10: Fellsway West to Highland Ave to Fulton Street to Malden Line; From Fulton St.to Highland Ave., East Border Rd to Malden Line-Elm St. to Fulton St to Fellsway West. All streets inside these boundaries included.

Nov. 14 and 15: From Royal St. to Winter Hill & Magoun Sq., Union St to Henry Street, from Ship Ave. to Craddock Ave. to Spring St. to Central Ave to Fellsway. All streets inside these boundaries included.

Nov. 17: From Spring St. to Cudworth to Salem and all streets inside these boundaries.

Nov. 18: From Central Ave. to Fellsway West to Forest Street to Cypress Road. All streets inside these boundaries.

Nov. 21: From Roosevelt Rd. to High St, Forest St to Governors Ave. All streets inside these boundaries            

Nov. 22: From Governors Ave. to Winthrop St to Winchester line. All streets inside these boundaries.

Nov. 23: From railroad tracks to Mystic Valley Parkway to Harvard Ave. All streets inside these boundaries

Nov. 28:  From Winthrop St to High St. to railroad tracks.  All streets inside these boundaries.

Nov. 29: From Harvard Ave. to Winthrop St., High Street to Boston Ave. All streets inside these boundaries

Nov. 30: From Boston Ave. to Somerville line to Mystic River. All streets inside these boundaries.

PLEASE DO NOT RAKE YOUR LEAVES FROM RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY INTO STREET.

RESIDENTIAL YARD WASTE WILL BE COLLECTED ON THE DESIGNATED WEEKS IN OPEN BARRELS OR PAPER BIODEGRADABLE LEAF BAGS.
