ATM Robbed in Medford Square; Girls Soccer Gets GBL Banner

Good morning, here are five things to know today:

Local police and the FBI are investigating a robbery of the Bank of America ATM on High Street over the weekend, police said. The machine was broken into either late Friday night or early Saturday morning, Police Capt. Kevin Faller said. It's unclear at this point how much cash was taken, he said. "The machine was compromised and they were able to take an undetermined amount of cash," Faller said. "We are now working with the FBI bank robbery task force to investigate."

2. Showers Likely: The warm weather is expected to continue today with highs around 60 degrees, but there's also a 70 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service. There's also a chance of rain tomorrow and a chance of snow tomorrow night.

The Medford High School girls soccer team took home the Greater Boston League title this year and advanced to the quarterfinals in the state tournament. Head Coach Rachel Perry said she was honored to coach them and is looking forward to next season.

4. City Council Tonight: The council is expected to discuss the number of salons and massage parlors in town, and consider a request from Maury Carroll on behalf of the new restaurant planned at 21 Main Street to reverse a denial for of an application for signs, which was denied because it exceed the number of allowable signs and size. The council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
