Cambridge Health Alliance Opens Medford Facility
The new expansion marks the alliance's first in 15 years.

MEDFORD, MA — Cambridge Health Alliance opened its newest location on 1 Cabot Road earlier this month.
The launch of this 56,000 square foot space marks the first expansion of CHA in 15 years. The clinic is slated to become home to 17 primary care physicians, a pharmacy, a bone and joint center that specializes in musculoskeletal injuries. In addition, it also has two procedure rooms where certain surgeries will be performed.
The opening of the new location will replace the one in Somerville’s Assembly Square, which just recently closed. A formal open house celebration was held on Wednesday, June 11 with city leaders such as Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn in attendance.
