City Looking into Wright's Pond Dam Improvement Project

Invitation for bids ends today.

The city of Medford is looking into a major repair project at Wright's Pond Dam.

Medford's procurement office's invitation for bids on the project ends today at 11 a.m., according to an announcement posted at City Hall.

The project would be a significant overhaul to the dam, and would include: Installing and maintaining erosion and sedmentation control measures; clearing, grubbing and stripping; tree removal, animal burrow repair, raising exisiting drain manholes, removing current drain pipe and installing new system, construction of a debris deflector, reconstructing the gravel path at the dam crest, repairing the existing emergency spillway and installing a new stop log system.
