From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

MEDFORD, MA — A new restaurant has arrived on 175 Rivers Edge Dr. The Establishment's Medford spot becomes the second location for the franchise, with the original being on Princeton Street in Chelmsford. The family-owned and operated business describes itself as a contemporary eatery, and prides itself on its ambiance, service, and food quality. It has a full bar and more than 50 televisions. The new Medford location is open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, and is open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The site of the establishment is the former location of The Porch Southern Fare and Juke Joint, which closed last July after five years in Medford and three previous in Wakefield.
