Five Things: Middle School Holiday Dance

Here are five things to know today, Friday, Dec. 7:

1. Chance of rain. Today will have increasing clouds with a high near 48, and a 30 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weath Service. Tonight will have a 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 38.

2. Middle school dance. A holiday dance is scheduled at McGlynn Middle School tonight from 6-9 p.m.

3. Coffeehouse at Bestsellers. Held every other Friday evening, including , featuring a variety of live music from local musicians. The Coffeehouse is organized by staff members Christian and Tyler. Start your weekend with friends, music, food, beverages, all in a casual and cozy setting.

4. Open on the holidays? Tell us! If you're a Medford store or restaurant owner and you'll be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, be sure to tell us your store's hours so we can let everyone know.
