Open Meeting for Figure Skating and Hockey: The bi-monthly meeting will be held in the Community Room at the South Medford Sub-Fire Station across from Tufts Park in South Medford. All Parents, Coaches and Supporters of our programs are welcomed to attend. If you want to know what's going on, make plans to attend. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.
Monthly Book Group At Library: The group, which meets at 7 p.m.. on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m., will discuss "To Kill a Mockingbird." Next month, they'll talk about "Blown Away."

Woman Allegedly Robbed Store with Syringe is Arrested in Medford: Ashley M. Phelan, 24, of 445 Medford St., Malden was arrested Monday afternoon on Fourth Street, shortly after trying to rob SulAmerica Enterprises on Main Street in Malden about 1 p.m., Malden police said.
City Council Meets Tonight: After last week's meeting was canceled, the council will no doubt have plenty to discuss. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

A Little More Snow: It will probably snow today, but only a little. Less than one inch of precipitation will likely fall before 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Today's high is 36 degrees.
