High School Football Player Hurt in Stabbing Following Game
16-year-old Marvens Fedna, of Everett, was stabbed early Sunday morning.

Police are searching for a suspect after an Everett High School football player was badly hurt in a stabbing early Sunday morning. The incident unfolded after the team’s playoff win over St. John’s Prep Saturday afternoon.
Marvens Fedna, 16, was stabbed in the back and hand, police said. Fedna was transported to Mass. General Hospital for treatment.
The football player was stabbed early Sunday morning while walking home from a party, according to Frederick Foresteire, Everett’s Superintendent of Schools.

Just hours before the stabbing took place, Fedna scored the game-winning touchdown for Everett, resulting in a 14-7 win.
Fedna is now recovering from the injuries after undergoing surgery.
