Hot Off the T: 5 Things To Do in Boston This Weekend

Walk for animals, Back Bay street sale, and a full schedule of 9/11 ceremonies.

(All events are in walking distance from Orange Line stops on the MBTA.)

1.) : On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the is holding its annual Fall Street Sale. Residents sell their household merchandise, books, antiques and other treasures. At , 145 Dartmouth Street.
Take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and walk 2 minutes to the Southwest Corridor Park. 

2.) : The MSPCA Angell Walk for Animals raises money to help protect animals. Walk starts at 11 a.m. at Boston Common.
Take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing and walk 3 minutes to the Common.

3.) : Mr. Nick and the Dirty Tricks  play  in the South End Saturday, 10 p.m. - 2 p.m. 
 
Pricing: Free
Take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and walk 10 minutes to the Beehive. 

4.) SUNDAY SUPPER:  in the Back Bay offers a special 4-course prix fixe Sunday Supper, available with or without wine pairings. Call 617-412-4600 to reserve your spot. 
Pricing: $55 per person, $85 with wines.

5.) : Check out the on Sunday, which includes: 

  • 7:30 a.m.: A wreath ceremony at the Public Garden.
  • 8:30 a.m.: Moment of silence at State House.
  • 11 a.m.: Interfaith service at Copley Square.
  • Noon: "Mass. Remembers Sept. 11" events at the Hatch Shell.
  • 7:30 p.m.: Berklee Memorial concert.
