MALDEN, MA - From July 11 to July 16 the Malden Police department will be having a Junior Police Academy for interested residents. The academy will run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for kids in grades five through seven. Applications are due by Friday July 1. Interested individuals can pick up an application at the police department or print a copy off<a href="http://maldenpd.com/forms/Junior%20Academy.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://maldenpd.com/forms/Junior%20Academy.pdf</a>JPA will include a variety of training situations, classroom instruction, physical fitness training and a travel day. Cadets are responsible for bringing their own bagged lunches.
