MEDFORD, MA — A local real estate agency made a special donation to first responders this Labor Day.

Nelson Group served up freshly-grilled lunches for first responders who worked on Monday. President Nelson Oliveira worked with Medford’s Deputy Fire Chief Tom Brennan to organize the holiday food pick-ups and drop-offs. The food was provided by the Alma-Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse in Boston, which is also owned by Oliveira.

“Here they are working on the Labor Day holiday,” Oliveira said about the first responders. “I believe it is really important to recognize our first responders and thank them for keeping us safe 365 days and nights a year.”
