Medford Democratic City Committee To Hold Caucus Next Month

At the caucus, Medford delegates and alternates to the 2023 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention will be elected.

MEDFORD, MA – The Medford Democratic City Committee is inviting all registered and pre-registered Medford Democrats to attend its caucus.

Pre-registered Medford Democrats who will be 16 years old by the caucus date are allowed to participate and run as a delegate or alternate.

The committee’s caucus is virtual and scheduled for Saturday, June 3, at 9 a.m.

Youth, minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ individuals who are not elected as a delegate or alternate at the caucus may apply for a spot at www.massdems.org, according to a press release from Medford Democrats.

This year’s state convention will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, where Democrats from across the state will come together to adopt a party agenda and/or platform. The convention will allow members of the party to discuss the many critical issues facing the citizens of Massachusetts and set an agenda for the year ahead.
