Medford Ensuring Immigrants Know Their Rights: Report
The city purchased a large amount of informational cards to help protect some of its citizens.

MEDFORD, MA — The city is attempting to assist immigrants through a new initiative, according to a report from Boston 25 News.
Medford has purchased 4,000 “know your rights” cards to be distributed to local immigrants, which provide quick access to constitutional protections. This action is in response to President Donald Trump and his administration’s controversial use of Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain people throughout the country.
The cards are available in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian, and Arabic with an English translation on the other side. Medford is reportedly close to acquiring another 4,000 cards.
