Medford Farmers’ Market Brings Back $30 Match For Low Income Shoppers

The market has also introduced a new, larger HIP vendor for the 2022 season.

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Farmers’ Market is bringing back its $30 Match Program for shoppers who use EBT/SNAP cards and has a new, larger HIP vendor this season.

EBT/SNAP cards can be used at the market table and are eligible for the match program and residents who use the HIP program can use their cards with the eligible vendor. WIC FMNP Coupons and Senior FMNP Coupons are used directly with the produce vendors.

“Simply swipe your EBT/SNAP card at the market table, and we match the total bill, up to $30 each week per household through the final market, Oct. 13,” says the Medford Farmers’ Market website. “That means $60 of fresh, healthy, and local food for a cost of $30!"
