Medford First Responders Help Victim With Gunshot Wound
The injury was reportedly self-inflicted.
MEDFORD, MA — Emergency response officials treated a person suffering a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday night.
According to the police department, the city received a 911 call at approximately 7:45 p.m. expressing concern about another person’s well being. Not long after, Armstrong Ambulance workers encountered the person injured outside their station on Union Street. Armstrong personnel rendered medical aid before transporting the person to the hospital. The identity of the affected person and other details have yet to be revealed. “Our thoughts are with the individual and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” The police department said in a statement.
