Health officials also encourage residents to wear a mask in all indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status.
MEDFORD, MA — Medford is requiring masks inside city buildings following an uptick of cases over the past week.
Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn said Friday there have been 60 positive cases in seven days, a rate she called "concerning."
"I understand the frustrations you may have regarding this renewed restriction, but as I’ve always said — my top priority is keeping the people of Medford safe," Lungo-Koehn said.
