Medford Man Indicted on Drug Trafficking, Firearm Charges

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan recently released a list of the latest grand just indictments, which included one man from Medford, who is facing a slew of charges.
Michael Puntonio, 46, of Medford, was charged with trafficking a Class A substance over 36 grams, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a license, and being an armed career criminal.

Puntonio was arrested back in May when Medford Police seized more than $40,000 and 50 grams of heroin from his home on Mayberry Avenue.
Police said Puntonio was caught attempting to sell drugs to another man. They were then able to obtain a search warrant.
