MEDFORD, MA — Medford has received nearly $50 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan Act and has hired a federal funds manager to guide the process of putting that money back into the community over the next few years.

Molly Kivi will work with the administration to set a strategy for the allocation of funds. She will collect input from the community and consider the priorities of residents and businesses.

The city will hold a community meeting on Wednesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers and over Zoom. Attendees can learn more about ARPA funds, meet Kivi and ask her questions.
