Medford Police Arrest Suspected Bank Robber
Police say Michael Moran robbed the Eastern Bank yesterday afternoon

Medford Police have arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery on Friday.
Michel Moran is facing charges for allegedly robbing the Eastern Bank on Locust Street, police said in a statement.
According to the police report, a Moran entered the bank at around 3 p.m. and slid a note to one of the tellers demanding cash. The teller then gave the man some money.

Police say he made sexual comments and threatened the teller.
Moran then exited the bank but dropped some cash on the way out, police said.

Officers quickly found the him walking on Riverside Avenue to Ross Street but he ran away from officers, according to the statement.
Moran tried to punch officers but officers were able to control him and take him under arrest, police said
Witnesses at the bank identified the Moran as the bank robber, according to police. Police found a large amount of cash in his pockets which they say was taken from the bank.
