Medford Police Deliver Food To Seniors Ahead Of Thanksgiving
The goods were gathered through donations from the community.
MEDFORD, MA — The police department delivered the goods at the Medford Senior Center on 101 Riverside Ave. Thursday ahead of Thanksgiving.
More than 100 seniors in need were able to select food from the donations the department gathered throughout the past month. The department expressed gratitude to the residents who donated, Wegmans grocery store, Medford High School Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility Group, and Oh My Dog! Dog Training for being key contributors to the drive.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time, resources, and kindness to make this initiative such a meaningful success,” the department said in a statement. “Your support directly impacts the lives of Medford’s seniors, and your generosity is truly appreciated.”
