Medford Police Drop The Hammer On Alleged Heroin Dealer
Drugs, a gun, and lots of money were found in the home of Michael Puntonio, 45, of 22 Mayberry Ave., say police.

More than 50 grams of heroin, $40,000, and an illegal handgun were seized from a Medford apartment on Friday, according to a statement from Medford Police.
Michael Puntonio, 45, of 22 Mayberry Ave. #3, has been arrested and charged with intent to distribute class A drugs, unlicensed possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Police say this was the result of a drug deal in South Medford with Alexis Delvalle, 46, of Chelsea, that police say they were totally watching.

Both Puntonio and Delvalle were arrested at the aforementioned exchange at the corner of Main Street and Wareham Street, and the drugs, money, and the gun were found during a subsequent search of Puntonio’s home, according to police.
Puntonio’s next court date is slated for May 18.
